Unless you are one of a kind who already has a goal and a plan to achieve it, you may read the instructions there, and they may become part of your daily routine and you will never comply with the instructions. This will indicate persistence of your part. At this point in the game it is time for checking how we are doing.

In today’s call several lessons were considered and one common point among all is that not making a decision is the worst decision one can ever make.

Previous chapters of Think and Grow Rich demonstrated the importance of setting up goals. Procrastination is the opposite of making decisions, and procrastination is the major cause of why we don’t achieve our goals.

Making decision is nothing more than taking action, but for some reason I keep over analyzing my plans and finding excuses to start them tomorrow and tomorrow never comes.

I can see now my goals very clearly in my mind; this lesson added on more powerful insight to the whole picture, it clarified for me that I just need to take action - to make decisions as if there was no tomorrow.

Mental Cleanse Lesson: Imagination

I am mesmerized by the subtitle of this chapter. I
have read it over and over as if, by osmosis, my sub
conscious and my conscious minds will realize and
accept the truth of what it says. It reads:

"All the 'breaks' I need in life wait within my
imagination.

Imagination is the workshop of my mind, capable of
turning mind-energy into accomplishment and wealth."

It's only two sentences, but I am drawn to it like a
magnet is drawn to a piece of steel. And I know part
of what I am feeling is "shock and awe", because I
remember that just a few short weeks ago, I was still
thinking - and saying out loud if the situation
warranted my excusing my lack of production -

I think it would be considered 'self-talk in reverse'
and it sounded something like this: "I'm not good
at that. I just don't have an imagination; I'm just
not the creative type."

Now, I realize it was probably more a case of fear
that stifled my desire to even consider that I might
have an imagination or be creative; a fear of not
measuring up to someone's expectations...or even my
own; a fear of being judged or criticized.

So at some point in my past, I discontinued using
my imagination if I didn't have to...such as in the
case of an emergency.

Yet I recall that my imagination would be in full
bloom if I was playing with my toddler grandchildren.
We would make an empty kleenex box into five different
kinds of a toy in short order.

Their parents would remark..."Grammy, can you turn
anything into a toy?" The contents of my toy box
includes evidence that somewhere....... I have an
imagination hidden away.

However, the thought of activating my imagination
in the "real world" triggered the fear of what I
had long ago learned to avoid whenever possible -
criticism and judgment.

Not so long ago, Michael continued to tell me that
my self-talk needed to be:It is none of my business
what other people think of me; the only thing that
matters is what I think of myself."

He would say, "Patti, you need it more than you need
oxygen." I knew it was true.

Dr. Hill says that my creative imagination works
automatically; but only when my conscious mind is
working at an exceedingly rapid rate, such as when
my conscious mind is stimulated through the emotion
of a strong desire.

A desire is only a thought, or an impulse, until my imagination,
synthetic or creative, transforms that
impulse of desire into its physical counterpart.

Dr. Hill also states that my imagination may become
weak through inaction, but it can be revived and made
alert through use. And the statement that really
flashed at me was this: "This imaginative faculty
DOES NOT DIE though it may become inactive through
lack of use." That was good news!

On this second round through the book on my '30 Plus
Days of Mental Cleanse', I'm realizing and acknowled
ging that my imagination is being revived. My self-
talk keeps me on track and brings me back when I slip
off the track.

My belief in me has grown and my fear of judgment and
criticism jumping out from behind the bushes to say
"Boo" is more infrequent these days.

My imagination is waking up and the Mentoring For Free
system is my "yellow brick road". The team calls and
the Master Mind calls elevate my conscious thoughts to
a level that prepares my imagination for "take off" and
I find myself giving concrete form to my intangible
thoughts--usually in the form of an email blast to my
prospects or in an ad for ebook downloads.

I'll keep practicing - who knows how high my newly
revived imagination is capable of flying!

Back to what Dr. Hill said about "the creative
imagination working automatically--but only when
the conscious mind is working at an exceedingly
rapid rate."
I have proven it to myself in the negative when I
feared the judgment and criticism of others.I was
not stifling my imagination in the slightest...it
was in full bloom then too... working against my
progress..to keep me in my little shell of safety.

Well, look out world cuz this nut is breaking out
of her shell and emails and ad copy are only the
tip of the iceberg for my awakened imagination!

I know it's capable of much more!

My heartfelt gratitude and thanks go out to Michael
and Linda and my MFF Master Mind friends who make
this a loving, supportive, and safe place to allow
my imagination to bloom again - automatically - IF
I CHOOSE to stay "close to the fire", say my self-
talk as often as I inhale, and never give up as I
follow the MFF yellow brick road for personal growth
and success. The collective wisdom and support
of this group just keeps lifting me higher... and
the journey together is the highlight of my week!

What did you learn from this lesson? I learned that everything can be achieved by means of empowering Knowledge with Ideas created by Imagination.

"Knowledge is potential" - it will not attract money
or other desires unless I possess the ability to
organize and use the knowledge. As long as I know
where to access the knowledge, then organize it
into a definite plan of action I am educated.

Mr. Ford created his own Master Mind Group to
supply the knowledge he needed to access.
He created the ideas and others supplied the
specialized knowledge and experience that was
organized into a definite plan of actions that
produced the first 8 cylinder engine.

There are no time or age limits on attaining
knowledge, learning new skills, creating a
Master Mind Group or putting a plan into action.
As long as I have a burning desire I can find
these other ingredients to achieve what ever
my success looks like to me. If I have self
discipline, commitment, consistent action
and stay open to learning I can achieve
anything.

I'm finding Chapter 5 a lot easier to understand.

Maybe it's because it describes the way I've always
tried to live my life. I've never been afraid to work
more at everything I've ever taken on, and I believe
that in any thing I've ever put my hand to, I have had
good or reasonable success.

It made total sense to me when Hill described lifting
my head high enough to see opportunity, but I had
never thought about the reverse effect, which is that
when I lifted myself up, opportunity had a chance to
see ME!

It fits well with the idea that we are not just receivers
but transmitters as well, and what better way to
transmit to the Universe than with head held high,
as a tall antenna. Not the best word picture, I know.
A radiohead with antennae.

I may be missing something, but I love the simplicity
of this chapter. It reminds me of the simplistic but
truo old Boy's Home Journal type magazines of my early
childhood in the 50's, written in the Boy Scout style
of the 30's or 40's.

There were enough of those types of mags still around
to tell us that all we had to do was be agreeable and
occasionally useful, and things would work out alright.

Hill now tells me that by doing the right things with
head held high, we attract the attention of those who
can, and want to help us succeed.

It also makes me realize that there is plenty to go
around and we don't have to compete for success.
The truly successful want to share it with deserving
others, and all we have to do is become deserving.

I already feel deserving. Maybe I should be more
useful with head held higher. Maybe this is what
you've been talking about as a mentor with a
servant's heart.

This is getting a bit clearer, but I still don't know
what I'm learning. I'll reread the previous chapters
and work harder at their lessons.

The Buying Leads Scam

So, you started with a Network Marketing company, now what? Your sponsor tells you how to create a list of friends and family and "show" them the business and recruit them all. But, they didn’t succeed, did they? Even if you got on track and are making a bunch of money, most of them won’t be up to the task. They are not network marketers. Now you realize that friends and family wasn’t a good idea after all.

Your friends and family are now
running away from you

Next step you think of is to buy leads, but this one is as bad as the first one above, if not worst as you will spend lots of money. Statistically speaking you can get one or two prospects out of 4,000 calls. The reason is that purchased leads will very rarely give you a good prospect. Somebody will be rich by the buying leads deal, but it is not YOU.

You spent lots of money buying leads
but there still no business

I’d like to present a much better option. Please listen to the video below. You will see how much some folks lost from buying leads. Auto Suggestion:

Since I have not been doing my lesson plans
or being on many calls I have found that my
old thoughts are back again.

I am not programing my subconscious mind
with my burning desires, not doing my self
talk, negativity is creaping back in.... I have
been trying to please everyone else in my
life so I don't rock the boat. As you know I
have lots of things happen in the past and I
need to keep it under control.

So I am committing again to doing my lesson
plans, my self-talk, getting e-book downloads
and helping other leaders who want to learn
and be successful.

I am the one in control of what I think, what
I want , what I desire, what my success will
be and who I work with..... Autosuggestion
means I am in control of what I am putting
into my subconscious mind, I am the only
one who knows what I truly desire and want.

No one can stop me from having my desires
or stop me from my self-talk.

Speaking of self talk, it is just not the words
I say, but how I say them and also my emotion
I have when I am saying myself talk. It is truly
amazing when you can actually get your heart
racing, or close my eyes and picture myself
and my team at the success level we all want.

One other think I also do to help with auto-
suggestion is have photos of my team members,
and for people I am speaking with I will put
their names up so I can see them every single
day and focus on them.

Short but I have started on my journey once again.

Thanks to both of you, for the belief, the friend
ship and the love you both give me.

Hello Michael,

I have absolute control over the material, thoughts,
ideas, beliefs, that reach my subconscious mind. So
says Hill. So it must be as far as I'm concerned.

The fact that I have absolute control over mt thoughts
reaching my subconscious mind,,,, does not mean that I
have exercised that control. Any control. So says Hill.

Don't I know it.

Here lies the recurring frustrations of my life, along
with all the voices of my ghosts, and any power they may
have been allowed to exercise. Allowed by me.

The preceding chapters have been a building of my self
talk, auto suggestion. Identifying my desire(s), naming
them, seeing them, untiI can feel them.

Desires I would not have previously dared to reach for.

Reaching for them by building Belief, and Faith, through
my own self talk. Self talking my way through this, into
it, becoming it, is such a foreign concept to my mind,
alien, but it feels so essential. So different from what
I have believed.

I don't know how to explain a craving for something I
have never tasted. But that's what I have. It's funny
how it works. At first it was just words, but I found
myself altering them, to something I liked better,
something that seemed to ring a bell.

Even if my self talk was not that passionate at first,
passion for what I am saying is building, as I edit
and rewrite, and get specific. The bell rings louder.

A war wages in me. A battle between the me I feel
that I want to be, and the me I drift back to, if
I allow my mind to drift.

I can't lose this war. I've been conceding ground my
whole life, without realizing it.... If I lost this
growing faith in myself, belief in myself, and daring
to reach for what I desire, then I could lose my
growing faith and belief in that universe, higher
power, the ether.

What a shame that would be..... If I can't be who I
dream of being, what is my purpose here?

Hill asks us; What price is too large to pay to gain
this? Talking to myself seems like a ridiculously
cheap price to pay. Self talk is free. All I have to
do is stick with it and re-program myself.

I have a long way to go to master this, and really
get from it, all I truly want....I can tell, because,
when I read this out loud to myself, part of me still
cringes at thinking it, writing it down, and then....

God Forbid, speaking it.

This is my old programming trying to kick in, telling
me to get real, this sounds nuts. That programming
has kept me running into the same brick wall, over
and over again, my whole life. How sane is that?

At these moments, I have to meet my past programming
with my self talk. But I know that with each expression
of my self talk, I'm replacing the old programming with
my new programming a little more each time I say it.

I think other people can hear it? Old programming
says things like "What do you mean you get your
plans from the ether?"

It's a scrap. A real battle in here. I knock that
voice down with my self talk. I'll win this scrap.
With each head on, I am gaining back ground I
previously surrendered.

Left to outside programming, others programming,
my mind is wide open to every influence, except
mine, and not working toward my desires.

Hill says, if your not so good at self talk, just
because you're a beginner, just keep practicing.
That's what Michael says. That's what Patti says.

I wonder how many people I couldn't hear say that
to me, until I hit that familiar wall again?

Like a drunk stumbling past the building where '
the AA meeting is, and never noticing it. Like not
noticing the step by step how to instructions with
each chapter in this book, the other times I passed
by.

ORDERS, given to my mind, by me, in the SPIRIT
of Faith, my faith, in me, and in the universe,
in Hill,in Michael, ORDERS based in my BELIEF
that this works, is all underpinned by my self
talk.

Without it, I'll build another house of cards,
and it will come down on me again.

I cannot trust to reason. Reason thinks I'm nuts
and keeps running me into the same brick wall.
At this wall, faith, belief, and desire fade away.

I should not wonder how I missed this chapter
before. Understanding it, and using it, was not
serving my old programming.

VISUALIZATION OF, AND BELIEF IN ATTAINMENT OF DESIRE
The Second Step toward Riches

The following are non-edited transcripts of a couple brilliant mind masters who are sharing their thoughts about Chapter 3:

Faith.

How appropriate that I would begin my 30-Day Mental
Cleanse with this lesson. Faith is a subject that's
been on my mind a lot lately. And, God has been good
to me in that He has been showing me how to have
greater faith. This lesson is right on time for me.

I can see that it is a matter of "practice" that is
needed to change my thinking; to keep the right
thoughts, words, and visualization along with them
to bring them to life.

In Proverbs 18:20, it says "A man's self shall be
filled with the fruit of his mouth (what he speaks,
even thinks); and with the consequence of his words
he must be satisfied [whether good or evil]."

Clearly, our thoughts and words affect ourselves
and others.

I must remember that faith is POWERFUL. There are
illustrations in the Bible where Jesus has re-
sponded to individuals by healing them and telling
them that their FAITH has healed them.

He gave them their burning desire because they had
faith. He also said that if we just had the tiniest
amount of faith we could move a mountain and that
nothing would be impossible for us (Matthew 17:20).

Chapter 3

Hill says:
"Faith, the head chemist of the mind.When faith blends
with the vibration of thought, the subconscious mind
picks up the vibration, translates it into its
spiritual equivalent and transmits it to Infinite
Intelligence, as in the case of "Prayer"."

So really this can be translated to what we think is
what we get. In other words, our Dominant thoughts
are a form of prayer. If our dominant thoughts are
those of negative experiences, negative feelings,
negative beliefs, then we put these out in a form
of faith.

These feelings are our thoughts which blend with
our belief system. And if our belief system is of
negative memories and that we deserve bad things and
don't deserve good, then this becomes a form of Prayer,
a faith blended with the vibrations of thoughts which
of course instantly reach the subconscious mind where
they are changed into their spiritual equivalent and
induce a response from Infinite Intelligence.

So...I guess this is why we get more of the same.

Why where we are is EXACTLY where we want to be.
EXACTLY the physical reality we have manifested
in our life. Hard to fathom, hard to ingest, but
true. This is the cold, hard reality. We have
manifested this on our self.

The good news is, we can out manifest it too. I
have just learned of a skill for this. And that s
kill is write my own movie of my life as if it were
now.

Not written as a goal into the future, but right now.
My movie, my life, my reality!

What The Heck Is A Mental Cleanse?

Too often we let things into our minds that should not be there and it hinders our progress. The best way to get your mind focused is to clean it up with what it should have. Think of it like rebooting your hard drive.

We all have an audience in our mind. Either that small voice that tells you things in a whisper, or that screaming crowd of loudmouths that are always putting you down! You can’t do it! It’s not going to work for YOU!! You’re a dummy! Lazy! Ugly!! You know what I’m talking about don’t you?

What happens is that the negative people who you have grown up with or live around has programmed these negative thoughts into your mind. Not only the negative people but in modern live in can add to the pot TV, radio, newspapers and the Internet. What we listen to and spend our time with is what feeds our precious minds and hands over to our subconscious minds to make into our reality.

When was the last time you heard that still small voice whisper in your ear that you are perfect just the way you are?

It’s been a long time hasn’t it?

You can’t hear it anymore because of all the self-defeating abusive negative talk and non-stop chatter that has taken over your mind.

But I’ve got good news… You can put a stop to the negativity and chatter for good! It is crucial that you learn how to get rid of these self destructive messages and thoughts in order to be successful in your business as well as your personal life! This garbage eats away at your productivity, your self-esteem and can even lead to suicide.
