Think and Grow Rich -- Chapter 9
PERSISTENCE
THE SUSTAINED EFFORT NECESSARY TO INDUCE FAITH
The Eighth Step toward Riches
For those reading Think and Grow Rich with the intention of attaining the results that the book claims, this chapter initiated by reminding that it is mandatory to apply the six steps contained in chapter 2. Indeed, this is one test of persistence.
Unless you are one of a kind who already has a goal and a plan to achieve it, you may read the instructions there, and they may become part of your daily routine and you will never comply with the instructions. This will indicate persistence of your part. At this point in the game it is time for checking how we are doing.

Think and Grow Rich -- Chapter 8
DECISION
THE MASTERY OF PROCRASTINATION
The Seventh Step toward Riches
In today’s call several lessons were considered and one common point among all is that not making a decision is the worst decision one can ever make.
Previous chapters of Think and Grow Rich demonstrated the importance of setting up goals. Procrastination is the opposite of making decisions, and procrastination is the major cause of why we don’t achieve our goals.
Making decision is nothing more than taking action, but for some reason I keep over analyzing my plans and finding excuses to start them tomorrow and tomorrow never comes.
I can see now my goals very clearly in my mind; this lesson added on more powerful insight to the whole picture, it clarified for me that I just need to take action - to make decisions as if there was no tomorrow.
